A vision of an anchor prayer in God’s network
A silver flash. A pointed object flew by my peripheral vision and smashed into the darkness, piercing it. The darkness could not escape the light. I searched my mind for what the object had been, but had no answer. I knew it pierced like an arrow and then opened, anchoring it there unmovable.
The Lord explained that it, the grappling hook, and the rope that followed, were called an “anchor prayer.”
As I zoomed in close, the vision that unfolded before me was of an anchor prayer that linked a communication system that spanned the Midwest of the United States of America. Networks link areas to areas, people to people, and causes and purposes. The system was designed to bring God’s promises to earth. A network of prayers to agree with God’s desires on earth as it is in heaven.
God released a directive to a prayer warrior and in complete obedience and in perfect timing, that warrior released out the prayer, declaring it into the world. Thus releasing a grappling hook or anchor prayer.
God continued to unfold the mystery of what He was showing me. Its complex design cannot be “cracked” by the enemy. No weapon formed against it can have an effect. Because the complexity is incomprehensible. No one portion if it was destroyed would bring it all down. God had built-in redundancies of sorts.
“When a prayer warrior is in a relationship with Me and sends out one word directed by Me in its perfect time the result is beyond your comprehension.”
He continued to show me volley after volley of arrows that pierced the darkness, bringing with it sometimes thin, medium, or thick cords, that linked together. Forming a net of incomprehensible design. Some appeared to only hold the spot for a short time until another came in, weaving through to connect with another thread from an opposite direction. As I zoomed in, I saw silver metal-clip-like devices that linked portions together in integral spots.
These integral holding spots were prayers spoken out in agreement with other Christ-followers.
One word declared under the submission and command of God held significance in the spiritual realm beyond our comprehension.
“Obedience is essential.”
Seeing the weaving of the design or network of thread, cords, and almost beam-like ropes left me dizzy. Human minds could not create or sustain this communication network of supernatural design and purpose. It struck me that utter reliance and total and immediate obedience were imperative to fulfill what God has designed for us to co-labor with Him.

I hope this encourages the prayer warriors out there. But I speak to the “regular” prayer person as well. The only thing that qualifies you to take part in this supernatural network of communication is obedience to Christ. It doesn’t matter if you think you’re qualified or have the most eloquent prayers your obedience is the only thing of importance.
I encourage you to press into the Lord and speak out what You hear Him say to you. You and I cannot comprehend the importance of our reliance on and obedience to Christ.
One obedient word declared under the submission of Christ is an “anchor prayer”
Agree with God, speak out His promises written in the Bible out over you and your family’s lives. Expand your faith to include a prayer for your community, county, state, and nation. What is written in the Bible is the truth! Speak it out because your obedience is vital.
How have you participated in agreeing with God today?
What does that look like in your life?
Will you allow space and time for God to speak to you today?
“So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1Cor. 3:7-11, NIV)
Prayer for you and me: Lord Jesus, you allow us to experience Your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Help us to speak out in agreement with You in all things. Embolden us to pray with fervency, knowing that our contribution to the Kingdom of God has far-reaching consequences. Direct our prayers, Lord Jesus. Let us co-labor with You to release anchor prayers over our nation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
