Kingdom Perspective

The Kingdom perspective is not from above but from within — from Christ’s victory living within us. What a great mystery.

Ask yourself the following questions:

What is the difference between looking from your eyes versus God’s?

Does it matter from whose perspective we live our life?

I hesitate to write/ articulate this vision. It is one that I have held in my heart and have told no one. A treasure for me I did not want to share. But I surrender as He tells me the time is now.

I received this vision over three years ago, as I was coming through a trial and God gave me a gift. I asked for a special revelation for the verse.

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10, ESV)

I looked deeply into an impossibly large flower. I understood it must have been a heavenly flower because nothing like it existed on earth. It was a cross between the girth and depth of a peony and the intricacies of a tightly woven rose. Its color leaves me without explanation. In this moment, my heart was perfectly still engaged in devouring the flower’s beauty.

Suddenly, God took me into space, cold and black, an endless nothingness terrified me. I clung to Christ’s waist in awe and terror of His creation. Something within me cried out a heartfelt need without words.

He replied, “I know what you ask, and I say yes.”

My body responded, and I pulled myself up to his heart to lay my ear against the Maker of the universe’s chest — the heartbeat of the Creator squelched all fear. Floating in bliss, ragged breath came from me as I realized my soul desired to sing. I’m not sure what words emerged, or even if any did, but there was a symphony in my heart just the same. A symphony I continue to treasure as God revealed the scripture in a moment that felt like was just for me.

  • Until today.

  • He took me deeper.

  • Into the partial revelation of

“I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” (John 17:23, ESV)

And

“For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3, ESV)

God said, “There is more daughter.”

Then I see, feel, and know the reality that I am in Him and He is in me.

He brings me to awareness that as I become more of who I am within the great I AM, the space that is the selfish me shrinks and only occupies the space of a flimsy shroud. When I let myself die and lean on His understanding of who I am, I come alive.

“There is no fear wherever you go because I am within you, and you are within Me. Daughter, I want you to picture My hands within yours writing and typing. My heart beating within yours steady and without fear. My lips and mouth speaking through you to bring healing to all.”

I’ve been crying for hours and yet He reminds me there is more when my heart is ready. My whole body is a buzz with the last revelation and yet He says there is more — how amazing.

I’m acknowledging I only partially understand, but I know He is faithful to bring me to deeper revelation.

***

As you acknowledge, He is within you. What are you going to dare to do — even today?

I don’t know my answer yet.

Perhaps my answer will be awhile in coming. But you better believe I’m listening.

What is your perspective? Is it a Kingdom perspective that comes from victory?

Prayer for you and me: Lord, You are in the process of transforming us. Teach us our next righteous lesson. We are listening, help us listen. We are willing to change, help us with change. We thank You for protecting us so completely as we are in You and You are in us. WOW! We need You God. Love, your daughters and sons. Amen.

Wow. This is special. Thanks for sharing your Gift. Even as I wander in this season, I know in my heart His arms are providing boundaries, as He waits for me to tighten them back in. Thanks Heather
